Menifee has been one of the fastest growing cities in the country since being incorporated in 2008. I talk to a lot of people who are very confused about taxes, HOA’s and simply where to live. More people than you would think do not even know what mello-roos is and or special assessments in general. Even people that live in a high mell0-roos neighborhood do not even know what they are paying! This is one of my big pet peeves in real estate. I cannot stand the fact that agents do not tell their clients what they are about to sign and get stuck with paying. Perhaps some of the buyers know what they are signing up for however they might think the tax amount is normal and not realize they are paying $200-500 a month more than the house down the street.
This is where I come in. I concentrate my real estate business on low tax areas. I have spent many many hours making tax maps so people can easily navigate and become informed on their payment amounts before making one of the biggest purchases of their lives. I am not saying all high tax areas are bad and or not worth it. Some people are willing to pay the extra money to have a brand new home and neighborhood. I am simply saying that I want people to be fully educated on what is out there so they can make an informed decision.
