According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), July home sales rose 2.3% from June, and 10.4% from the same month in 2011. Listing inventory has fallen (down 24% from a year ago), and demand is rising. I have particularly noticed that home prices are rising, and inventories have fallen in Canyon Lake. I have many buyers looking for homes, but the good ones go quickly! This has caused prices to rise. Our company flipped and sold a home last month and we thought it was listed much too high but it ended up with 2 full price offers in under a week! Buyers seem to be getting impatient looking for turn-key homes!
